Job Vacancy - Retail Merchandising Administration Assistant / Assistant Merchandiser

We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our Retail team based at our Head Office in central Brighton.  The role is available for immediate start.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role as Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser, ideally in fashion retail
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • An exacting eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment, liasing with colleagues and third-parties around the world
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate efficiently
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Eurostop, or other EPOS systems

The key responsibilities of the job are:

  • Data entry, analysis and reporting on a daily and weekly basis for the retail team
  • Stock control and movement from shipment, clearing, delivery, replenishment, and transfers
  • Processing and recording stock adjustments and audits for retail stores
  • Investigate and resolve issues swiftly and intelligently
  • Merchandising assistance to the retail team
  • First point of contact for franchises and retail stores
