As a member of the Irregular Choice retail store manager team, you are expected to represent the brand and its ethos. Irregular Choice is known as a fun, bright and quirky brand. The atmosphere we create in our stores with the music, furnishings, and product all work together to create a unique and fun experience. It is the floor staff, the sales team, the managers that can really make it an experience for the customer to remember.

The best promotion for any brand is positive word of mouth! The store manager has the ultimate responsibility for the store environment and the staff working at the store. The store manager should offer guidance, experience, and training where needed so that the assistant managers are empowered to run their stores within the guidelines of the business in the absence of the manager.

The successful candidate must posess the following skills...

  • One to two years management experience within a footwear retail environment
  • A proven history of working within a customer service based role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Appreciation of process management
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate efficiently
  • Good computer skills, including Excel and Word

Irregular Choice are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor is going from strength to strength, bringing iconic and unique fashion footwear to our fans all over the world, and we are looking to expand the ECommerce team in our central Brighton Head Office.  The role will be focussed on assisting our customers and Customer Service staff on a day-to-day basis, you must have previous experience of leading a customer-facing team to be considered for this role.

  • Experience dealing with customers via email, social media and over the telephone, in a senior or managerial role

Irregular Choice are looking for a Trainee Footwear Technologist

Due to the success of Irregular Choice we are expanding the technical team and are looking for a Trainee Footwear Technologist to complement our existing team.  The role will initially concentrate on brand factory confirmation samples, with further progression through training and gained experience.  Please note that this is not a design role!

The role...

  • Track the progress of samples
  • Evaluate the look / aesthetics of samples against the requirement
  • Check materials against the requirement
  • Create and update clear and concise sample comments
  • Communicate with the China team to ensure amendments are followed accordingly and on time

Key Skills and requirements...

  • Knowledge or qualification in footwear technology (specification, pattern, materials, construction, production), but full training can be given
  • Good eye for product detail
  • Good administration skills
  • Accurate, attention to detail
  • Good command of English
  • Quick learner and can-do attitude
  • Good at working to tight deadlines, under pressure
  • Self motivated but good at working in a team
  • IT literate eg Excel
