It is the floor staff, the sales team, the managers that can really make it an experience for the customer to remember

We are looking for new Assistant Managers to join are already successful team to help grow and strengthen our the team. The ideal candidate will have :


·       One to two years Management experience within a footwear retail environment

·       A proven history of working within a customer service based role.

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Appreciation of process management

·       Experience of working within a fast paced environment

·       Ability to priorities and delegate efficiently

·       Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word

·       Ability to run and work as part of a team

·       An eye for merchandising


The key responsibilities of the job are

·       Develop and implement the customer service strategy focusing on the objectives of the business.

·       Management of store team

·       Deliver daily sales and takings reports and update management

·       Investigate issues and update management

·       Develop new processes that improve customer service

·       Manage and support the team

·       Stock reporting

Footwear Technical Manager
Design Asylum, including the successful brands Irregular Choice, ICED,  Poetic Licence.  We are a UK based company with our design office in the UK, a production company based in Hong Kong and sample room and production office based in Dong Guan China. Plus international sales distribution, retail & ecommerce www.irregularchoice.com.
To manage the technical process from development to end production
To assist the development team on technical matters and to follow these through into production to achieve footwear with the right look and right quality/fit, on time.
To manage the technical aspect of the sample process from development sample, lasts, fit sample, factory confirmation sample, full size set, pre-production sample
To manage the technical aspect of the production process from cut, stitch, last, and final QC
Full knowledge and hands on experience of footwear technical process of sample product development to production processes
Understanding of all aspects of footwear production and the ability to make recommendations to improve the fit of the development sample.
Excellent verbal & written communication in English
Attention to detail
Performance under pressure to meet deadlines
Working with the Head office team -  owner/designer, senior technical manager and the production manager, design
Working with China team – development team, materials team, production team,
Working with & directing the China QC Team
Based at the head office Brighton, UK
Frequent travel (approx 4 months/year) mainly to Sample/production office & factories in Dongguan, China
