Irregular Choice are looking for a Quality Control Technician

Responsible for on-site quality checking and processing of footwear, bags and accessories for Design Asylum Retail (DAR).  This full time role is based in our warehouse in central Brighton and will work closely with colleagues in retail, feeding back to technical, design, wholesale, and production departments further up the supply chain.  The role will be self-led on a day to day basis, however full training, ongoing management and guidance will be provided by the technical department.  The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a flair for accuracy whilst maintaining high standards of output.

Main Tasks

  • Inspect % stock to goods in schedule, to retail, technical, and supplier standards
  • Produce inspection reports regarding sample adherence, construction, finish, quality etc
  • Escalate any identified issues across team and liaise to resolve quickly
  • Schedule and action full inspections for launch products across DAR
  • Log, process, and organise faulty product storage for all DAR
  • Arrange and action spares/repairs/clearance/return/remedial as per instructions
  • Liaise with on-site ECommerce returns staff to log daily return rate/reasons
  • Analyse returns data to produce return rate reports
  • Transfer faulty products to warehouse for inspection reports
  • Identify and escalate any trends or issues swiftly to correct teams

 Due to expansion, Brighton head office of footwear & fashion brand Irregular Choice, has an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the retail buying & merchandising team. Essentially a job for someone who loves admin with full training given, it would be great if you have some experience &/or keen to build a career in administration.

 Job Purpose - To provide administration support to the Buying & Merchandising Team to ensure the smooth running of the retail merchandising administration

Main Tasks

  • Data entry into excel documents & retail IT system eg product information, season information, pricing
  • Uploading data into retail IT system eg deliveries, scanner info
  • Processing data eg purchase orders, transfers
  • Running & distributing & collating reports eg branch reports, specific customer reports, weekly sales, best sellers
  • Checking & reviewing data eg delivery discrepancies, POS stock levels 
  • Liaising with other departments (stores, warehouses) eg sending information & documents, chasing data
  • Updating the buying & sellers report wall
  • Updating calendar
  • Filing
  • Day to day ad hoc support for the retail team.

Customer Service Advisor - Maternity Cover - Brighton is going from strength to strength, bringing iconic and unique fashion footwear to our fans all over the world, and we are looking to expand the ECommerce team in our central Brighton Head Office. The role will be focused on assisting our online customers and fans on a day-to-day basis. Your daily tasks could range from answering calls and emails, tracking deliveries, resolving complaints, liaising with our warehouse, couriers, store or head office staff, to answering queries on Social Media. Also listing shoes for sale on various platforms.
