oh yeah, these are the ones!
I've been wearing Irregular Choice shoes for years and, now that I'm well into old babehood at 70, am still wearing them. in fact, I thought the Cherry Champs were maybe created with me in mind. I'd been wishing for a pair of iridescent mary janes, not too high a heel, and good fit, which is exactly what these shoes are. the toe box is the right amount of room, the heel is a teensy bit high but the strap holds my foot in nicely. the only part I'm not absolutely crazy about are the "cherries," but no worries, they detach easily. I'm still mulling over the replacement. Otherwise, they're about as cool a shoe as you could imagine--well made, not too foofy, and comfortable. Hard to find shoes with all these qualities, especially the last one. Why my feet are pretty well bunion-free and otherwise undamaged is because I've often sacrificed the cool factor for the comfort factor. It's nice--finally!--to have both, however, and Irregular Choice almost always fills the bill. Oh yeah, and the price is always right, too. How many times I've found these amazing shoes, only to be stopped short by the price tag. I couldn't, in good conscience, pay upwards of $500 for a pair of shoes, (even if I did have that kind of disposable income.) IC has so many really gorgeous, well fitting, unique, and very reasonably priced shoes. So, I recommend them, and hope to continue buying them when I'm well into my 80s and beyond.
